Pitting ( not picking) cherries for a cherry pie

It was only after Rafi sat down and put on plastic gloves did I realize my aunt had asked us to "pit", not "pick" the cherries for a pie.  We used a combo of cherries from the garden from 2008 and 2010.

Rafi's Belated Bday Present

Ari bought his brother some Star Trek presents for his 33 birthday.

Saving The Lemons!

The predicted low was 21.  It only got down to 29 or 28.

We were told to hang christmas lights on the lemon tree to protect them from the frost.

It's the first time in 19 years the Frankel house decorated their home for Christmas.   Little do the neighbors know the Jews DID NOT convert.  They were just doing what they do best : protecting their citrus trees.
